I am absolutely obsessed with documenting your gorgeous, growing families. I’m from a huge Irish family and have been lucky enough to be photographing other families since the day I landed in San Francisco 15 years ago. I love telling your stories through my photographs. I LOVE getting your kids to laugh. I tear up when I see our photos printed on your walls. I have been photographing the same families in San Francisco and Marin for more than 10 years.

Katie isn’t just an amazing photographer who elegantly captures our family in each new season of life; she’s also become a part of our family tradition. Every fall, we look forward to scheduling Katie for our family photo session, which doubles as a fun outing for the kids in beautiful scenaries around Marin. She has watched them grow, effortlessly engages with them, and goes with the flow to capture unexpected moments—whether it's my son showing off his photography skills, a playful ball toss between my son and husband, or a close-up of my hand holding my toddler's. This Is Me In My Element!
Other than hanging out with my family (when they are all on their best behaviors;), my other favorite thing to do in the world is to travel, snorkel, run with my dog and to photograph little people. Nothing gives me greater satisfaction than making kids laugh and capturing their beautiful little, authentic selves. I promise my shoots will be fun, they will be straight down to business, no wasted moments and oodles of beautiful images to treasure, share and swoon over afterwards.
